Clearline builds companies their own apps and websites, and keeps them running. Everything is built for the company it belongs to.

Before work starts, you get a written description of what’s being built and one fixed price. If the work changes, we price the change and wait for your yes.

Everything on this website is an example, not an offer of a package at a set price.

We often build something first, at our cost, so you can see it. It stays ours until a project is agreed and paid for. You’re never charged for it or obliged to go ahead.

Once a project is paid for, the software we wrote for you, the website, your data and your web address are yours. If you leave, they leave with you and keep working.

Anything we built before you, and reuse across many clients, stays ours. You get the right to use it for as long as you like.

Larger builds are paid part at the start and the rest at agreed points. Ongoing work is monthly and can stop any time. No minimum term, no fee for leaving.

If monthly payment stops, ongoing work stops too. What we built stays yours, and we’ll help you move it.

We promise the work is built properly, does what the scope says, and gets fixed when it breaks.

We can’t promise a number of calls, jobs or a search ranking. Nobody honest can.

Every app relies on other companies: hosting, payments, mail, search engines and phone carriers. We choose carefully and tell you which, but we aren’t responsible when one of them fails.

These terms follow California law. Anything else that matters to your project goes in its written scope.
