They are built to fit every trade in every country. That is exactly why they cannot be shaped like your business, not a flaw, just what a product for everybody has to be. It only becomes a problem when the shape of your week and the shape of the software stop matching.

True of any product built for everybody, and none of it is fixed by paying for a higher tier.

None of them know your companyTheir call answering and text back is the same script for every customer of theirs. Yours reads the history, knows the address, routes to the right person, and hands to a human the moment one is needed.
You pay for every person, every monthThe bill is a function of how many people you employ. Take on two in spring and the software gets more expensive, whether or not it does anything new.
You own none of itThe customer list, the job history, the photos and the notes live inside somebody else's account. Leaving means exporting a spreadsheet and starting the relationship again.

What owners ask before they switch

Is this cheaper than what I pay now?
It depends entirely on what you keep and what gets built, so the honest answer is that it is a conversation on the call. What we can say without knowing your business: it is one bill instead of several, and it does not go up because you hired somebody.
What happens to my data if I leave you?
You take it. The site, the software, the data and the domain are yours, and that is true from the first day, not after some term is up. Nothing we build depends on you being unable to leave.
