How it works
Know what you are buying before you buy it
Start to finish
Four steps, in this order
- 01
We look at how you run now
A short call, and some reading of your own site and listings. Where the calls come in, how a quote goes out, what gets written on paper, and where the week falls apart.
Your part: Twenty minutes on the phone.
- 02
We write down what gets built
What it does, who uses it, and one number, in words you can read without a dictionary. For a website we skip the paper: we build the page and send you the link.
Your part: Nothing. This part is on us.
- 03
You say go, or you do not
If the plan beats the week you have, we start. If it does not, you owe nothing, you keep the week you had, and there is no follow up campaign.
Your part: One decision.
- 04
We build it in stages, and stay on it
Something useful is live in the first couple of weeks, and the rest lands in the order that pays you back fastest. After that: changes, fixes, new prices, new services. The person who built it is the person who answers when you text.
Your part: Text when something changes.
Three ways to work with us
A build, a plan to run it, and a website when you need one
Every one starts the same way, with us looking at how the work moves today. What changes is how much gets written down before the real work begins, and how long we stay.
Custom software
We watch how the work moves today and write down exactly what is being built.
You get one number and a scope in plain words.
It is built in stages, so something useful is live early and you see it as it comes.
It keeps changing as the business does. Nothing is finished forever.
The care plan
We run what was built: hosting, watching it every few minutes, changes when you ask, and the month's numbers on the first.
You type a change the way you would say it, with a photo if it helps. It lands with us the same minute.
Most changes are done within a day or two. You get an email when it starts and when it is live.
Stop whenever. There is no term, and you leave with everything.
A website
We build the page and send you the link.
You tell us what is wrong with it, in your words.
We fix it, point the domain, and it goes live.
It stays current. You text, it changes.
The part people worry about
You do not pay for six weeks and see nothing
The scope and the number are agreed before anything is built. After that a usable piece goes live every couple of weeks, in the order that pays you back fastest. By the time the last piece lands you have been running on it for a month.
It also means you can stop. If the first two pieces have not earned their keep, that is a conversation we would rather have in week four than at the end.
Your build
Six weeks. Something you use from week two.
Your side of it
What we need from you
Four things. If you have them on your phone already, the whole project gets faster and cheaper.
Your real photos
The work, the people, the place, the finished result. Phone pictures are fine and usually better.
Your prices
Or a rough shape of them. It is the difference between a quote and a guess.
Access to what exists
Your domain, your listings, whatever you are paying for now.
One person who decides
Committees do not build fast, and you are already busy enough.
Before you commit
What people ask before they say go
- How long does it take?
- Custom software depends entirely on what it has to do, and we tell you the honest number before you commit. A front office system is a few weeks, built in stages. A website is usually live within days of you saying go.
- What if I already have a website?
- Then we start by telling you whether it is worth keeping. Sometimes the answer is that it needs three fixes, not a rebuild, and we will say so.
- Who owns it when it is finished?
- You do. The site, the software, the data and the domain. If you ever leave, you leave with all of it and it keeps working.
- What if I want to stop?
- You stop. There is no contract to escape. We would rather you stay because it is making money than because you are trapped.
- Do I have to understand any of this?
- No. You describe what is slowing the business down. Working out what technology fixes it is the job you are paying for.
- What kind of businesses do you work with?
- HVAC, plumbing, electrical and roofing companies first, because that is where we started and where most of our clients are. After that, any established company that runs on calls, jobs, appointments and paperwork.
Twenty minutes, and you know what you are buying.
Tell us how the work moves today. You leave the call with a plan and a number, and nothing is built until you say so.
